temperatur sensor for freezer

Post by geiermann »

I wants to install in my freezer a temperaure sensor. Because the temperatur is -5°C or less, a normal sensor will not fit.

Doese anyone has experience with a temperature sensor in a freezer and which modell is there in use.

Going with lithiuam batteries might also help as they can handle low temps much better than alcaline.

I've got a Dallas 1-Wire DS18S20 sensor in my freezer and in my fridge. I'm using MSure (www.msure.se) to log the data. Works perfectly (I'm just missing a link between 1-Wire/MSure and Meteohub)

User Skyewright did an integration of 1wire sensor into Meteohub via Meteohub's plugin concept. Maybe you can do something similar.
