Hi

I dont seem to be getting any lightning data showing either for today or in the charts - I have recorded 18 strikes this month on my Tempest

You can see my site here http://ringwoodweather.ddns.net:8000/Weather34/

I am using a WeatherFlow Tempest for measuring lightning which according to the settings should work although my main site above is a Davis Vantage Pro 2 using a Meteobridge Pro

I have attached a screenshot so any ideas would be much appreciated

Warm Wishes

Hello Graham

Has in previous years your site is not visible here in Istanbul (been like that for years) so not much i can do apart from asking is the data visible in meteobridge itself if so then I could adjust the template but without it being visible i dont have much chance

Good morning Graham

I’ll take a look but unfortunately lightning can be a tedious patient process due to the fact lightning in your region is sparse and realtime data is the key to getting it to function has expected. Does weatherflow tempest still use third party data in its lightning output which can be a bit misleading has the data is not directly detected by the hardware.

Hi Brian

As far as I am aware it measures lightning strikes directly

ok Graham I'm going to guess because I can't see anything from your site (ps in this day and age HTTPS:// is standard !!!

I just did numerous false trigger of lightning which simulates weather flow output via meteobridge

is mb-lightning.php running ? http://ringwoodweather.ddns.net:8000/We ... htning.php

I am running this on my meteobridge as a service

Hi Brian

In the event

http://192.168.0.134:8000/Weather34/mbr ... ing.php?d=[lgt0energy-act:--] [lgt0dist-act:--] [lgt0total-nonzerotime:--] [lgt0total-daysum.0:--] [lgt0total-monthsum.0:--] [lgt0total-yearsum.0:--] [lgt0total-sum10.0:--]

Should I be mapping the physical lightning sensor or the logical - at the moment its using the logical sensor

Hello Graham
It is going to be difficult for me to do anything without some form of seeing the outcome , if you resolve your website visibility I could probably nail it in a couple of minutes. I apologise and no problem in helping if it was visible but bit like blind leading the blind scenario and outcome

Hi, I wanted to report that the Meteobridge API module isn't updating correctly; it often stalls.

Re: Aurora Cloud: Not updating correctly

Post by fotogw »

Since last wednesday the MB Aurora cloud is not updating correctly, Today even only once. So i miss a lot of weather...
I'm running a Meteobridge Pro2, restarted and updated multiple times, no improvement.
Don't know if it is connected, but the time shown in the MB Aurora cloud screen seems to be in GMT, not GMT+2 as it should be here.

Good morning

I have adjust the last two small modules (position 19/20) to update every 10 seconds that might reflect better for that particular module , I don't want to update all bottom modules to ten seconds has that might cause problems(heavy load) for those running of low resource hosting or free hosting services.

@fotogw sorry I cannot help with Cloud internal version , simply there is no public direct file access or means of diagnosing from remote. please open another thread so Boris may be able to help ,also if you have requests for additional items for the cloud version again please open another thread . pre warning the Cloud version will produce many errors if the internal cloud version of PHP is updated to current release of PHP . There is no urgent purpose to update the current PHP version in the cloud unless security becomes an issue.
