N.B. That UPS design would need some adaptation for an ALIX-1D as the 1D takes a 12V power supply rather than 18V.

Thanks for that netsigi.
I have plenty of space next to my main PC.The larger case will fit in better and gives me more options for my custom PSU/charger.
The PSU is not the problem it is the backup battery that takes up all the space. I plan to run my WMR928 and ALIX-1D off the same supply so I can get rid of the WMR928 PSU unit and battery back up both.

I will probably have a power connection for the WMR928 on the back of the ALIX case. I may also add a power and activity LED as well so I know the unit is working. The case has these built in and should work from the supplied header plug.

If I get it working I will post the details on this forum.

I always forget : I have many WRAP's and ALIXes, but i newer needed one with vga. I use a 3d2 for meteohub.
