[solved] can't reach sheeva plug anymore

Since some days I can't reach my sheeva plug anymore (when pinging the answer is: "Zielhost nicht erreichbar" - host not reachable).

I use a Sheeva Plug (model 003-SP1001, S/N 0939000558) with preinstalled software from New IT.
It worked fine and without any problems since installation half a year ago.

The LEDs on the meteohub are all on and the yellow and green LEDs at the RJ45 connection are also active.

As I'm not an IT expert I would need some hints to locate the reason for that behaviour!

edit [solved]: reason seems to be a damaged network cable. meteohub works fine with another patch cable on another port of the network-hub
