Nano SD locking up. **solved**

I have a 1amp 5volt dc power supply and batteries tested at 1.58VDC. The VP2 came with the 1amp USB power supply. I did buy a 3amp 5VDC. Would that be enough?

1A is enough but the Davis power supply might not hold the 5V as precisely when giving a bit more amps as that is irrelevant for the console. A proper 5v 1A+ power supply might do better when challenged a bit.

Update, Still running with the 3 amp power supply.

The easiest way to upgrade the power supply without having to do any wiring is to purchase the Davis 6627 USB to Davis Plug Power Cord and a 3 to 4 Amp USB Power Supply. It’s just plug & play.
