Meteohub and Weather Display Software

Post by oliverb »

If I run Weather Display on my PC what exactly will work with Meteohub?
Will I see live data?
Will Weather Display use the historic data from Meteohub?

If the above works how do I setup Weather Display to work with Meteohub and is there a setup guide?

Thanks.
Brett.

Yes.

After you have set it up for Meteohub each time WD starts it commences by pulling in data collected by Meteohub since the time that WD recalls as when it last ran.
By setting the 'Data Logger' pick up time (probably wrong terminology, I'm not on my WD computer) you can adjust how far back WD looks.
If the above works how do I setup Weather Display to work with Meteohub and is there a setup guide?
No formal guide. A search on the Weather-Watch forum might help, but essentially it is a matter of setting a Station Type of "Stationless", and then providing the IP and port of your Meteohub in the TCP/IP section of the COM Port setup. Both Station Type and COM Port are set in the WD Control Panel.

I hope that helps.

In answering a question on Weather-Watch,com I've given an outline of how to set up WD for Meteohub based on my current understanding.

That answer can be found at:

Maybe it will be useful to others too?
