Meteobridge Pro not sending data to the internet **solved**

Post by JT1 »

Hi

I have a Davis Vantage Pro2 (Wireless) system linked to the MBP (red) via Lan rather than WiFi. Since the 12th September 2017 Weather Underground has not received accurate data nor humidity levels. The same applies to CWOP and WOW sites. I have had the MBP since January 2017 with little issues up until now.
The MBP is showing green on all three sites and I have re-booted several times with no real resolution to this problem. My display is working and I checked the station outside just in case of problems. Very frustrating! Live data - showing 3 green ticks as I write!!!

Anyone have the same or similar issues? I read other posts but not any clearer if the same issue.

Meteobridge 3.4 (Sep 9 2017, build 11405), FW 1.4

All advice welcome.

Seems like you don't receive any current data. When win, rain, outdoor temp, etc is not reporting uploads to weather networks will be void.
"Messages" section on "System" tab should give indications what goes wrong in receiving data.

BTW, can you please include proper screen dumps. The unformatted text you inserted is mostly unreadable.

This is baffling too. The Davis Vantage Pro2 is selected as shown yet no green check. As below there are two checks relating to Wifi settings??

Again any thoughts much appreciated. The station dropped sending to the internet stations at 00:50 on the 12th September 2017.

Cheers

Hi Matt

I have re-booted my Davis weather receiver and noticed the internal RF receiver was checked on the station tab of the MBP. I removed this check and the page changed to reflect this. After re-booting the MBP unit having saved settings it now seems to be transmitting as normal. WU is now showing my data (IENGLAND746) as before.

Hope this has been solved, more by trial and luck on my part!

Many thanks again for your feedback.Really appreciated!

Regards

So based on the above screen shots and just to confirm you have a MBPro (red) connected to a USB logger. The MBP (red) is connected via cable to the logger (not wireless to the VP2) & network (as opposed to WiFi)?

Connecting via USB as well as having the use RF internal ticked would have certainly been confusing things a little.

Hi Matt,

Yes thats correct. However I hadn't adjusted anything on the MBP (red) tabs at all prior to the problem had been identified. I was alerted to the MBP when the screen was blank, normally has the the screen logo and IP/ licence number showing.
I wonder, though not certain would the latest re-build on the 9th have anything to do with it? That is identifying an RF box??? My station started having issues with data sending from the 12th. A mystery.

Many thanks again for your forbearance on my problem.

Cheers
