Envoy 8x not returning data. **solved**

Hi,

I have a Davis vantage pro 2 weather station with receiver display.

I have the following in place:

TL-MR3040 -> Unpowered USB 2.0 hub -> envoy 8x -> ISS.

This was working on v3.9 for a number of years now.

Today I updated the TL-MR3040 to v5.2 firmware. Now I am trying to setup the meteo bridge again.

I have added the envoy 8x in and selected one of the "Device" options. Not sure what the difference is between the two:

I have these settings in place:

When I look at the Mapping section I don't have any options:

So with these settings, I don't see any live data coming from the Envoy 8x or the vantage transmitter:

What am I doing wrong here?

I'm experiencing similar problem, but different hardware.
Meteobridge -> Davis Emulator (by anemos)
Without USB hub.
To resolve I need to connect and then disconnect the Davis Emulaor USB Stick.
Then save again the configuration to restart the logger.

Are you sure you have one of the very few "Envoy 8x"? I think you have a regular Envoy and then you have to select "Vantage" as station type.

Hi,

I changed it to Vantage and it seems to be working now.

My home setup has the envoy 8x and I thought our holiday home setup I was referring to in the post also had the envoy 8x but maybe it doesn’t
