Weather cam setup - newbie question. **solved**

Post by iamdm »

Hi,

I’ve recently tried configuring a weathercam, added the cam and when I click on the link it opens a capture from the camera successfully on that page.

The weathernet service installed ok, selected one of the standard overlay templates, but when I click on either of the buttons to view the camera from that page, they take me to non-existent pages.

I’ve read the brief info in the wiki, but can’t see anything to tinker with. What am I doing wrong?

TIA

sorted it.

I abandoned the default templates from the weather net and used the one from JM Farrow in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=56&t=16161

Going to fiddle with the syntax some and see if I can add UVI and Solar Radiation to the space at the right of the overlay.

Look at this thread where there are examples including UV & Solar: viewtopic.php?t=16283

thanks, I've pinched the syntax for UVI and solar from 'jmontamat' in that thread.

My camera isn't in it's final location, so those two variables are a little hard to read as the background is a white building, I'm going to move it, but may change the colours to something darker if it still doesn't look great at that point.

Cheers.
