Realtime txt

I have uploaded a realtime text file to my meteobridge pro 2 and cant get it to populate any data from my Davais weather station
It is reading my station as I have it sending data another way how can I get that data to populate the template/realtime.txt ?


my realtime text has a different name I did not want to overwrite the orig

Did you change anything in the your realtime.txt file or simply make a copy and rename? Not populating maybe then in Events Definition? Or is the upload not working? How is the event setup?

This is for a WS40 weather plugin that runs out of wordpress There support is not very good on this

This is what is said but Medobridge pro 2 does not have this config

How to install on Meteobridge
Download the file using the button above, or directly: ws40_meteobridge_master_v5_0.txt
In your Meteobridge admin panel, go to Services → Weather Network.
Add a new "Custom Script" target, select "Push" and upload the v5 template.
Set the push URL to your WS40 station realtime endpoint and set interval to 5 minutes.
In WS40 → Settings → Mapping, run the test — WS40 auto-detects the Master KV format and shows all 68 keys.

Sorry that doesn't make much sense to me, is this an Event or a Weather Network?

Weather Network (Weather Nets) is a separate tab, under Services Tab there is only Events & Service Settings, both Tabs serve different purposes.

Uploading a script/Template etc can be one under System/Administration [Upload Files] but appear to be referring to Scripts as templates which have different folders, which one does this need to be uploaded to? Not sure there is a "Push" option?

The setting of a URL and interval to 5 minutes to me is referring to adding a Weather Network which are pre-configured. It's all rather vague?

However the realtime.txt file/setup should be straight forward as an event?

There is no data in my realtime.txt file in MB and I dont see anywhere I can set it up

Ok, realtime.txt is a simple template not a Weather Network

Under Services/Events create a new Event Definition, Select Service to match intended template type (such as FTP etc) noting not all services support all template options, select Event Type and Add Service Event. Fill out the required parameters which will depend on the Event Type, Select File for Upload (template:realtime will be an option) and [Save]

If you copied/renamed the default realtime.txt then the file needs to be in the Template folder.
