No sensors assigned on RMS300

Post by stein42 »

Dear all

I just start configuration of Meteohub installed on NSLU2 and I am using RMS300 as a weather station with 3 wireless sensors (humidity and temperature).

But there's a problem with sensors connection.
Pictures will be better than large description so here are screen shots of meteohub :

Do you have an idea ?

rms300 should detected as usb hid device. your second screen dump shows that this is not the case.
what does the dmesg log on log files screen say? the list of connected usb devices is the one i am looking for insight the log.

Oh that's strange because at the beginning was detected as usb hid device.
Apparently it dissapeared after RMS300 reset I did in order to retrieve sensors (I read somewhere that it coould be useful).

Nevertheless here is the dmesg log :

I am sorry my USB wire was not well plugged on my weather station and now I have something in "Weather station".

But I still have an issue with sensors because in "Sensors" page I have following message :

Code: Select all

Warning: Weather station does not have a sensor assigned on "Sensors" page

error connect socket 127.0.0.1:5555 :Connection refused
Warning: Data logging has been halted.
And in 'Log files" I have this :

Code: Select all

Please browse to "http://ip-of-your-meteohub/cgi-bin/help.cgi".
This will give me a ssh tunnel to login to your meteohub.
