WMR200 no data **solved**

Post by dazza1033 »

I have just set up a WMR200 with a dlink505.
I am getting the following status

logger (14.02.2014 18:45:01): connect station 0 (WMR-200 via USB HID).
logger (14.02.2014 18:45:01): unexpected 0 bytes delivered from weather station 0 (WMR-200)
logger (14.02.2014 18:45:01): disconnect station 0 (WMR-200): response without data

Does the dlink505 work with the wmr200? I have tried a couple of USB hubs (powered U] and un powered) but I don't seem to be able to get a connection

Thanks in advance
Darren

yes it works with the WMR-200. Please provide a screen dump of your "weather station" tab.

well it worked briefly until the dlink rebooted (power failure)
The unexpected zero bytes error is back.

Do you have the mandatory USB 2.0 hub inbetween?

Can you please send MAC of your Meteobridge (displayed on "system" tab) to "info(at)meteobridge.com" ?

Further investigation showed that a driver for USB HID connected weather stations was missing on platform DIR-505. Bug is fixed now, all it needs is a reboot of the DIR-505 to load fixed code.

I am having almost exactly the same problem, except with a WMR100 and TPLink TL-MR3020. Is it possible that there is a more generic fix for the USB?

usb problem is related only to DIR-505 platform. TL-MR3020 works fine, there must be another problem in your setup, not to be discussed in this thread.
