Admin,
NO wifi.....I believe the culprit was a bad ethernet cable that had a broken lock tab. Hopefully things will return to normal.
thanks for the reply.

RPi 4 Updates
I've been experiencing RPi4 connection issues for a few months now. Several times a month the connection drops requiring either a reboot which is not a big deal or a power cycle which can be a pain. Would updating the RPi4 help?? Are there any other options I can try to stabilize the environment ...

RPi 4 -drops MB connection. **solved**
I have been running MB on an RPi4 for over a year with good success. Over the past two months MB drops however my router shows the ip as active.
The work around is to shut down and reboot the Rpi which is a hassle.i.e connecting the mouse, KB, monitor. Once it's up again I disconnect the peripherals ...

Making progress...power cycled the MB RPi. Now I can grab images from the Cam settings along with Weather Nets MB Weather Cam settings. Images were generated with and without text overlay. Next on to the Weather34 Aurora MKII!!

Re: trying to link an amcrest cam to Aurora MKII
Boris,
I'll continue to research the problem. Most likely a setting/limitation of the camera. I have no issue with Meteobridge. It's a good product that I have been using for years.
thanks for the reply...
