Re: Note on Ambient Weather Network

Granted, but today it's not technically possible to send to AW unless it is their branded WeatherBridge, so in the generic firmware I don't see the point of including it.

Note on Ambient Weather Network

Boris should include a note when setting up Ambient Weather Network or remove it from the options. Had to come here and look to see why my station wasn't updating. AW could at least offer a subscription plan to Meteobridge owners.

Re: Barometric pressure drifts and jumps

I see a new updated firmware trying to correct this problem: released June 18, 2017 improves algorithm to compute station pressure from SLP as reported by Vantage. Normally, Meteobridge directly requests station pressure from Vantage by means of LOOP2 protocol. But there might be situations where Va...

Re: Barometric pressure drifts and jumps

I just rebooted to grab the latest firmware, and the drop in SLP is still there. You can take a look at it for 06-16-17 10:54AM. https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=IRETIRO3 It dropped from 1012.4 hPa to 1006.7 hPa, and it is not just on WU, my meteotemplate server sho...

Re: Barometric pressure drifts and jumps

Yes, indeed Don, it is a high altitude station. I have now changed to the Davis Vantage Vue and the meteostick. When rebooting there sometimes was a large spike in the calculated pressure. I have not rebooted lately after the change to meteostick, but I am with you, no matter if the sensor isn't as ...

Re: Barometric pressure drifts and jumps

I am currently using Acurite's SmartHub and 5in1 Station and keep getting the same problem each time a reboot meteobridge. When I reboot the bridge, pressure drops aprox 8hPa and then slowly goes back up. This is only for the calculated sea-level-pressure. The altitude corrected pressure (CWOP) will...

Re: Meteotemplate weather network error

Just add api.php to the end of the URL and it should clear. Seems a check for the full URL, rather than the home directory was put in place. I however keep getting an error while trying to access my server via SSL eg: https://clima.red/ Had reported this a while back, but still get the error. Hope i...

Minor bug with Meteotemplate https server

This is a minor error. When sending data to my Meteotemplate server running on SSL I get an error on the network tab, although the information is being correctly sent. I am inputting the server base URL as https://clima.red/clima/.

Re: Open Weather Map API

Understood Boris. Just out of curiosity, why the strong feelings toward OWM when they offer free access to the API with little limitation? I see WU has more restrictions on how to use the info they provide (i.e. logo guidelines) and also have commercial packages.

Open Weather Map API

Open Weather Map provides accurate weather conditions for my region. I see they have a new API in place to send them the station info. With the old POST method, I do not see my station listed, nor can I retrieve information from it. Is there a chance to update the upload to use there API: http://ope...
