Thank you for the very rapid and extremely helpful reply.
I read your post carefully, dug a little more deeply into my system using Putty, and it is working now as expected. Of note, you do not need to reboot the MB for it to recognize the stick it appears since I added a stick to the back port and ...

MB Pro not recognizing USB stick **solved**

Have tried several different sticks including one that was working previously for some months, reformatted them ...

Re: Connection challenges
Thank you for the quick response! Yes, I suspected my confusion was contributing to the problem which prompted my post. While I am generally a believer in the "if it's not broken don't fix it" school, there are specific reasons I would like a wired setup in this case even though the full wireless ...

Connection challenges
My MB Pro seems to only want to connect to its friends via radio. The unit is currently working via wifi to the internet and picking up a console repeater signal for station data.

Pro stops uploading data to services?
My device has recently begun stalling out on regular data uploads to WU, CWOP, etc. The device is otherwise responsive and will briefly resume uploads upon reboot. Newest updates are applied at each reboot, and device appears to be connected to LAN and WAN (although at one point I observed that the ...

Re: Proper back-up/restore method?
I rebooted today to pick up the latest FW, Meteobridge 3.9 (Apr 18 2019, build 12765).
When I click the back-up button on the System Tab it appears the MB Pro just shuts off? My Pro internal flash died years ago (no luck getting a replacement) and I have been using the front USB with a 64G stick ...
