Mine does seem to be more stable after disabling SMB.

How to disable SMB? --> I think I already found it: System > Administration > Security > SMB disabled

But... why is this suddenly an issue?

Mine went already down again last night.
I will have to do a power cycle again, once I am on the location where it is installed.

I had another hangup.

I'm glad to see my MB is not a sole case, but regret you have similar issues. It's very annoying because data isn't captured and uploads fail.
