MB Pro Red hanging about once amonth

Random thought, is something spiking memory use and the OOM killer is killing everything?

If the MB was connected via wired Ethernet then ping would likely still work, and that would be a useful diagnostic. (If ping were to fail then that would indicate that the unit is hitting a kernel oops or something like that which leans more toward hardware failure.)

Mine is wired to Ethernet, and it’s not possible to ping it after it crashes.

I'm glad to see my MB is not a sole case, but regret you have similar issues. It's very annoying because data isn't captured and uploads fail. Boris had a look, logged on to my MB and the only unusual he noted was that the MB CPU-% spikes every full hour to 200+ values. To see that for your MB, go to the "generate graph-tab" and select "MBPRO-health" graph. The cause is unclear. Switching of all events, all uploads and even disabling internet access did not change the pattern.

I see spikes every full hour close to or over 100%. The one indicated by 14(:00) was 137%.
At 17:00 (not in the screenshot) there was a spike of 154%.

This seems also strange. I have a gap where nothing is shown on the graphs.

It is between June 25th, 13:04 and June 26th, 08:51.

But while this occurred, WOW was fed data without issues:

What can also be seen is that somehow the RF already stopped at around 11:04 (on the 25th), and resumed at around 13:05.

It might be worth setting up remote syslog so if its starts to complain before dying, the complaints can be recorded somewhere.
