send log to remote syslog
Is there a option to send logs (meteobridge.log and logread) to a remote syslog?
It looks like that could be added to /etc/config/system (log_hostname, log_ip and log_port) but I guess this will be overwritten at restart/update.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Peter

Re: Distinguish between multiple stations
Will there will be a solution for this issue in one of the next meteobridge releases?
And, is MQTT and InfluxDB in the roadmap?

Re: Distinguish between multiple stations
In my case that would help. But think about other users using livedataxml.cgi, they could get errors while parsing.
I would add an additional cgi without any magic renaming, e.g. livedataxml_raw.cgi or livedataxml_with_station.cgi. But take care, that no sensor will ever be renamed, even if you ...

Re: Meteobridge is authoritative DHCP server. **solved**
Gorgeous, thanks for all those quick answers!
I got rid of dnsmasq (stop/disable) and luci is no ok as well!
For future releases of meteobrige I would disabled dnsmasq, I’m sure that will confuse some users.

Thanks for your answer. You are right, WD/Sandisk sound like a much better option. I thought, they are more or less in the same price range. Are the WD/Sandisk as reliable as the Swissbit are?

Hallo!
