Weather Data Recomputation:waiting for several days now

Post by efiten »

Hi,

I'm using Rpi 1 with build 5.0f

My system worked well for several months, but due to a power failure, it's rebooted, after that, the recompuntation of weather data is stuck, it's still 'waiting', as you can see in the attachment.

It was like this for several days, then I tried to reboot again (from the GUI), but again, it's 'waiting' for more then 10 hrs now.

anything I can do, without loosing data?
Is the incoming data still logged, or is this all lost?

I would recommend doing an update to 5.0p on "maintenance" page with "update (auto)" function.
I hope this also cures your stall problem. If that does not work some semaphore files need to be
purged. To do so, I would need access on ssh level to your Meteohub.
Please send login details to "info(at)meteohub.de", I will need access to port 22 (SSH).

Tried to do that, but it failed...
So i looked at some log files, and saw this :

Code: Select all

May 6 11:15:46 meteohub-rpi exim[13692]: 2016-05-06 11:15:46 1aybrO-0003Yq-BO Failed to create spool file /var/spool/exim4/input//1aybrO-0003Yq-BO-D: No space left on device
This is strange, because I have some room left, even on the rootfs :

Code: Select all

root@meteohub-rpi:~# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
rootfs 1.7G 1.3G 251M 84% /
/dev/root 1.7G 1.3G 251M 84% /
devtmpfs 214M 0 214M 0% /dev
tmpfs 44M 1.9M 42M 5% /run
tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
tmpfs 113M 0 113M 0% /run/shm
/dev/mmcblk0p1 50M 24M 26M 48% /boot
/dev/mmcblk0p4 13G 142M 13G 2% /data
tmpfs 32M 652K 32M 2% /var/log
to bad the rootfs is that small, my data-part is 13Gb with almost no usage.
Anything I can do to fix that ?

Root file system is defective. I guess you need a new SD card and set it up again.
You find help in migrating to a new SD card here:
