PRO2 Display

Post by Mitch56338 »

The display shifts down or up after the PRO2 is running for a few hours to a few days. Any idea's on how to correct?

Let me test with my PRO2. Which display template are you using? Which display interval is defined?

Doesn't seem to matter what template I use. Even my home made ones have the same issue. I am currently using the built in one BIG-scrolll-IMP.dsp

Do the following two browser requests bring it back in sync?

Code: Select all

http://ip-of-your-meteobridge/cgi-bin/system.cgi?rcoled%20stop
wait 2 seconds...

Code: Select all

http://ip-of-your-meteobridge/cgi-bin/system.cgi?rcoled%20start

That worked. Can this be automated so I don't have to manually do this through the browser?

Just released update does a screen initialization on every "clear screen" command, which is issued a lot. That way it should keep in sync. Please reboot and give it a try.

After rebooting the PRO2 now just a small area of unreadable text at the very bottom. Stop and start from the browser and still no readable display. Seems like it starts to display but the auto reset cuts it off before the display can draw the screen.

The intended fix seems to have some side effects. Please reboot to have the old version running again. It will need some more testing on my side.

Just released update should have it fixed. It might need two reboots.

While downloading the database backup file from the SD card to the computer for safe keeping the display shows mostly unreadable. After the download completed the display shows upside down. Doing the display stop start does correct it. I purchased a new MBPRO2* which doesn't have this display issue. Could a component be getting weak causing this issue?
