Hi Guido.
Did you get anywhere with the Alix 2D3 board?
I have come across one and would like to set it up asa backup to my Alix 1D setup in case it fails.
Regards.
Brett.

Hi G3ZSS
With more and more devices no longer supporting Flash this is a great alternative. I agree it would be nice if it was fully supported by Meteohub.
My page here has the same problem http://home.btconnect.com/brettoliver1/ ... aster.html

Re: Rainfall not recording
I have sorted this issue.
The problem was my weather station not the Meteohub software.
On my weather station a WMR928 the rain total need resetting when it reaches 99999 or it won't record any more readings.
I just reset the rain totals from the WMR928 front panel and the problem was sorted.

Rainfall not recording
There seems to be a problem with recording rainfall on my system.
I have a Meteohub using an ALIX-1d that uploads to Meteoplug.
The last recorded rainfall was 25 days ago. When I look at the rain sensors on Meteohub and Meteoplug they show rain (at the moment 0.2mm/h) but this does not seem to be ...

Re: Options when running out of storage space
Thanks again for your help.
I have deleted the two months from 2007. This should buy me some time while I decide if I am going to get a larger flash card or just run with a few years data on Meteohub and use Meteoplug for my main data source.

Re: Options when running out of storage space
Thanks skyewright.
I backup Meteohub every night using cwrsync. I also run Syncback every now and then from my Windows PC to backup to my Stora Network drive.
Just to check before I delete some of my data.
See attachment from Windows 7.
Can I just right click on the folder and select delete?

Re: Options when running out of storage space
My 4GB Alix-1d gets that full with not much more than a year's worth of data (I have quite a lot of sensors)!
My solution is to prune the data once a year, having first made copies. If I want to report on longer periods I use the Meteoplug based version of the data.
Horses for courses. What suits ...

Email alerts for weather.
email_alert.gif Would it be possible to add an instant email alert to sensors?

Current Cost energy monitor Development Board Solar sensing
I have been experimenting with a solar sensor made up of a Current Cost energy monitor analogue Development Board. The board has a couple of light dependant resistors added and a variable resistor.
The light dependant resistors are mounted in an old automatic light sensor box which is then clipped ...

Re: Current Cost energy monitor Development Board
I have completed a circuit to read my gas meter via Meteohub/Meteoplug directly in kWhs.
The circuit uses a hall Effect sensor and senses every 0.111kWh of gas usage.
I have a put some details on it here http://home.btconnect.com/brettoliver1/Gas_Meter/Gas_Meter.htm
It is still a work in progress ...
