To get it out there I would have to touch code for all weather stations and I would implement
some bugs there for sure which will keep me busy for weeks...
As a fellow software developer I know the feeling!
May be a next generation Meteohub will have that sorted out.
Okay. Maybe some day ...

Re: VP2 Wind dependent on outdoor T/H being connected?
wind is bound to the temp sensor to get the wind chill right, which is part of the wind data.
so if windchill assigned temp sensor fails, no wind data either.
Thanks for the logical explanation.
The English idiom "Throwing out the baby with the bath water" comes to mind. I hope that translates ...

VP2 Wind dependent on outdoor T/H being connected?
Running 4.9u (Build 6942)
Hi,
Yesterday my VP2 outdoor T/H sense failed (70C & 100% RH). This morning I took the shield & sensor off the ISS for study & planned to leave it off till a replacement sensor arrives. As soon as I'd come in from the garden I checked the VP2 console to see if all the ...

Thanks for considering it. Not essential, but a nice alternative where appropriate.admin wrote:At the moment just for Meteobridge. Might be an option for Meteohub later on.

Re: Templates
That's very neat. Any chance of an equivalent in Meteohub &/or Meteoplug? Or have I missed something & it's already there?

Re: Update 4.9u
Have you considered collecting the update direct from the Meteohub website (http://wiki.meteohub.de/Updates), then using the "Software Update (File)" option to browse for and update from the downloaded file?Friese111 wrote:After some minutes I always got the message: Download update 4.9u failed!.

Re: Weather Data Recomputation
Yes, and after 5 - 10 min no change yellow text "waiting". Prior to the update it would display red boxes/squares whilst recalculating, presumably this was a visual indication of how far along the recalculation was.
Have you looked in any of Meteohub's logs (web interface => Log Files) to see if ...

Re: update to 4.9u caused loss of USB from VantagePro2
Meteohub IS efected!! Problm is NOT fixed for serial Data logger! Since 6942 no connecion to logger.
It's not simply a serial logger issue.
I have a serial data logger.
6942 works fine for me, both as a direct feed (i.e. to the serial port of an ALIX-1D) and daisy chained to another meteohub on ...

Always the awkward one.admin wrote:David, thanks for digging into this. Looks like you are one of the few using meteohubs in a daisy chain.
Build 6942 now installed on both meteohubs. VP2 working fine on both.admin wrote:Just released 4.9u hot-fix should have the problem solved.
Thank you.

VP2 isssue on "proxy" meteohub
I have Meteohub running on 2 ALIX-1D machines.
Most ofthe weather stations are attached to the first meteohub (I call it meteohub-b), with the second (which I call meteohub-c) accessing the weather stations via meteohub-b (e.g. 192.168.0.78:5502)

LabJack U3-HV not showing AIN-0 HV => AIN-3 HV
Hi,
First post for ages (Meteohub & Meteoplug 'just work' & I've been busy with other stuff...).
I've had a LabJack U3-HV for several years but not used it with Meteohub before. Now I want to monitor a 12V battery that I plan to use as part of a DC supply project (to replace a host of 12V 'wall ...

Re: Almost all sensors showing low-battery after update to 4
Given all these battery-low warnings popped-up immediately after the reboot into version 4.9m, I can't help but think it's a similar bug to the one Boris addressed in 4.9l and has maybe been re-introduced in the code changes to 4.9m.
Reading through that I agree that a re-introduction looks like a ...

Re: Almost all sensors showing low-battery after update to 4
I'm running the new model RFXCOM RFXtrx433 with meteohub and I've just updated to v4.9m. However after the upgrade, almost all of my sensors are showing the low battery warning (ignore the PCR800 sensor being offline.. I'm not using it at present). I know the sensor batteries are fine, looking at ...
