Re: Using Pro2 LAN port as well as WiFi

Thanks, that would be the ideal solution but I don’t have Ethernet at the location where the MBPro2 and camera would be, hence the question. It’s battery / solar powered, so I don’t even have the option of a powerline Ethernet adapter. The MBPro2 itself can work fine with both interfaces configured,...

Using Pro2 LAN port as well as WiFi

Hi, Anyone know if it’s possible to use the LAN port on the MBPro2 at the same time as the WiFi? My main connectivity to the MBPro2 is via WiFi, but I have got hold of a HikVision IP camera. As this is wired only and I don’t have Ethernet in the location that I wanted to put the camera, I wondered i...

Re: Solar powered PRO/2

Thanks I gave up on this idea, after doing the math. I’m mid UK, so having a decent run-time of a week without sunlight in winter meant quite a large battery and solar panel, so was financially not viable. It was around a 50w panel and similar battery for my location. If I the battery went flat (as ...

Solar powered PRO/2

Hi Best position for my PRO/2 for reception is in a place where running a power cable will be a little tricky. Wondering if anyone has any success they can share running PRO/2 (or PRO i guess) on purely solar / battery power? I’m UK so will obviously need to make sure solar panel & battery is ap...

Pro2 realtime display

Hi I’m looking to upgrade my station software and the MB Pro2 caught my eye… Used to have a MB Nano SD but changed setup and no-longer have it. I have Davis VP2 at the moment, with separate transmitters for Rain, temp/Hum and Anenometer/UV/Solar - this means the MB Nano SD is out as the VP2 console ...

Re: Is anyone else genuinely unhappy with Meteobridge PRO?

Is there anything untoward in System/Logging page?

Also is the antenna connection tight?

-71db doesn’t seem right for a transmitter 15ft away.

Feature Request: local webcam

Hi, Wondering if it’s possible to have a webcam connected directly to a Meteobridge (either USB or RPi official camera module) and use it the same the IP webcam functionality already built in. Alternatively, does anyone know of a way to install packages on RPi Meteobridge? Apt doesn’t seem to exist…...

Bad sensor data

Hi Seeing this in my logs for a MB Pro Red: logger (21.09.2021 19:50:47): Bad th0(0) sensor data, "dew point x10" (-752) out of range [-700:1500] logger (24.09.2021 12:32:37): message above repeats 19264 times. I’m guessing its because my transmitters are set up: Ch0: Wind, Solar & UV....

MB Pro Red Warm Casing

Hi

My new MBP Red case is very warm to the touch - about 44 centigrade - is this normal?
Upgraded from a Nano SD, so don’t know if there is an issue, or is this is expected…

Many thanks

MBP Red Mapping Issue **solved**

Hi, Ive just got a MBP Red and am having an issue with sensor mapping. My setup is a Davis VP2 with 3 x transmitters: Ch6: Temp & Humidity only. (MBP type Temp & Humidity station) Ch7: Wind, Solar & UV. (MBP type ISS) Ch8: Rain only. (MBP type Rain Station) All sensors are mapped by defa...

Re: Local Dashboard updates stop on Nano SD

Ok, fair enough. You can see when connectivity is a problem because you get the message about Access point temporarily enabled in the log. I wouldn’t discount the repeater just yet though - i work with Cisco network kit and when I brought some of their AP’s home from my test lab, i could see the MB ...

Re: Local Dashboard updates stop on Nano SD

So to be clear, when it stops, the MB Nano webUI is working normally, but shows no internet? If so, this is an issue with the router or repeater, not MB. Getting the webUI on MB is showing the WiFi and local connectivity part is working, but MB thinks internet isn’t available because it can’t reach ...
